To prepare for a new puppy, follow these steps:

  1. Puppy-proof your home: Remove any hazards and secure electrical cords.
  2. Create a space for your puppy: Set up a comfortable bed, food and water dishes, and a crate.
  3. Stock up on food and treats: Choose an AAFCO-approved puppy food.
  4. Come up with your training plan: Decide on house rules and basic commands.
  5. Gather other puppy supplies: Toys, leash, collar, and grooming tools.
  6. Establish a new or trusted Veterinarian and schedule your puppies first Vet appointment, we reccomend within 24 hours of taking the puppy home
